I've been interested in unconventional approaches to solving problems for most of my life, and have applied this framework to countless complex situations in the real world. When I first dove into the worlds of complex adaptive systems, ecology and evolutionary biology about a decade ago, I knew at some point I'd put together a book that tied them all together. Now you can also benefit from that synthesis I've been using for so long.
My professional background is pretty varied. I started out in options trading, then moved to software engineering, then into marketing and sales at the executive level. Most of my time is spent consulting businesses and investors on how to handle strategic complexity. When I'm not doing that, I'm on the mats training or coaching jiu-jitsu, reading or taking care of animals.
